I had very bad acne and the best thing i found was the regimen on hope that helps.

Go to your docs, he gave me erythythromycin stearate 500mg but i was 15 when he gave it and after 6 months (how long you have to take it) it did pretty much all clear up. Trust me, all the branded stuff aint worth squat.

My son broke out really bad when he turned 13. It was terrible
We tried everything over the counter and nothing worked.
We ended up taking him to our family doctor, and he has been taking medication for it ever since. 2 pills a day and it works great. The doctor said it is caused by a bacteria in the skin makeup and is very common among teens.
It is very affordable also. Alot cheaper than the over the counter medication. Talk to your parents and ask them to talk to your family doctor. You will see results even within the first week.

it depends..do you have pimples or Acne..there is a difference…I had HORRIBLE acne when i was in highschool, and the ONLY thing that helped me was accutane, and that shit is BAD..horrible stuff, but it worked…very very well, but in order to get something like that you’d have to see a doctor. Now that i’m an adult, and if i get a lil break out every now and then i use St. Ives Apricot scrub. It seems to work very well. My dermatologist told me to use plain dove soap, because all the alcohol in the over the counter meds dry your face out..and that makes you produce more oil which means…more acne. I tried proactiv too, and it actually made mine worse…so you just gotta try a bunch of stuff until you find what works best for you…Good luck..i know acne sucks!
