it may work for you. aspirin contains salicylic acid, which is an acne medication
making a thick paste from baking soda and water helps dry out pimples, too

Don’t leave the aspirin spot treatment on overnight. Aspirin contains salicylic acid which loosens dead skin cells & whatever is blocking your pores. Some people are sensitive to it.
Apply the aspirin treatment & leave it on 15-20 minutes. Rinse off w/ warm & cool water.
Plain milk of magnesia will help dry out your pimple. Shake the bottle well & apply a thin layer. Leave it on for 30 minutes & rinse off w/ warm & cool water. You could leave it on overnight but it will flake off.
Don’t bother w/ toothpaste. It used to work because toothpaste used to have zinc. Most toothpaste formulas don’t include zinc. Also – the mint can be irritating.
