Does Murad or other pills for acne really work?
Posted by admin on Friday Dec 12, 2008 Under Other - Skin & BodyKimm asked:
I’ve been struggling with breakouts since middle school (i’m 22 now) and lately i’ve been getting more and more breakouts. I tried prenatal vitamins to help but besides making my nails healthy, they haven’t improved my skin at all and I’m almost done with the bottle!

I’m skeptical about trying Murad, does anyone know if this stuff works or a different brand that works well?
Thank you so much…

i really like murad. it has salycilic acid so it’s alot more mild on your skin. the pills work to but i would def. go to a dermatologist for a prescription.

What the skin needs is a product that clears pores and kills bacteria, thus preventing hair follicles from clogging and turning into acne. This is what you should be looking for if you want to get rid of those ugly acne.
Before trying any treatment, I suggest you read this informational source that listed the most effective acne treatments available:
P.S. I also know someone who used to suffer from severe acne for 14 YEARS and finally got rid of it completely. She’s sharing her story at her site:

No, topical ointments work. Trust me on this one, not only have I tried but I’ve thoroughly researched if “skin” pills have good results or bad and generally, they don’t work.
