girlygirl24 asked:

Ive been using proactiv for a while now and have never really had a problem. Last night i applied thr mask and then reparing lotion to my affected areas before i went to sleep. Too ym surprise I woke up this morning with scratches on ym face, you would have thought i was scratched by a dog or someting but I wasnt! I have a painful scratch on the right side of my face one on my chin and one near my nose. What should i do to ease the pain of these scratches. I think for some reason maybe i put too much on and it litteraly burnt my skin. Any advice on what to do because its really embarrasing to have scratches on my face!

You probably put too much because i also use proactiv and when i put too much on thats what usually happens

try not to use too much when you are putting it on it really helps =]

Do you move around a lot in bed?
    Maybe you accidentally scratched
    your own face? However, more
than likely, it was a burn. I have
    used the repairing lotion before
also but have never left it on overnight.
I would maybe take an anti-inflammatory
medicine, such as Advil or Aleve.
I suggest over the counter meds for
now to see how bad the pain really is.
Then you might want to just put aloe
vera on them. PURE aloe vera. Not
Banana Boat crap. You are probably
going to have to suffer with the not
so asthetic scratches for now, putting
make-up or any cover on them besides
aloe might cause you to scar. It might
also make the cuts get infected or
start to burn worse. If you don’t see
    improvement within three days, go
see a doctor. Oh! Have you called
the Proactiv people yet? They have
a hotline number. They might be able
to help you also. Good Luck!

    Remember, it won’t be forever.
