I asked my Rehumy about what I can do, and she said not much. I do try using spot tratments, with sycilic acid in them, but they dont seem to work. before the Lupus, I never had acne of any type. I havent had one in a year or so, but do wash my face with coq10 face wash, and it seems to help prevent them. When I have them, they just linger, sometimes for a month of two. Just a hard bump, no puss no anything. Its annoying, and if I do try to drain it, nothing happens, and it just scabs over, so she told me to let it be. I do belive It is part of the Lupus, since ive never gotten them. Just keep your face clean, in hopes of preventing them. But they stick around until they want to go away. sorry. Ive expereinced them for several years now. and as I mentioned I use a Co Q 10 cleanser and oral supplement and so far no cystec acne. thats all I can come up with.
