Serious Skin Care…..available on HSN. My kids swear by it and both have tried Proactive and it didn’t work for them.
You can get the products on line at
The product line is call Continuously Clear.

Well I am using AcneFree but that is formulated like Proactiv. I have also had luck with Neutrogena Oil Free Cream Acne Wash and Clean and Clear topical salicylic acid. Wash twice a day with the Neutrogena and apply the topical ointment to trouble spots at night.
If you have really bad acne (not just typical teenage stuff) then go to a dermatologist.

I’m allergic to benzoyl peroxide so I could never use Proactiv, so instead my dermatologist gave me a pill called Oracea, which is used to rosacea but also treats mild acne. It’s really nice because unlike other pills I took before, you only have to take it once a day and it doesn’t have any of the side effects most acne pills do (nausea, bad headaches, etc.) Ask your dermatologist about it. And of course, wash your face twice a day. I use Clinique Foaming Wash, it works really well and doesn’t dry out your skin or make your face oily at all.

If your acne is severe, you might want to ask your doctor if Tetracycline would be the best treatment for you. Tetracycline is an oral antibiotic. Also you might also want to try Retin-A applied directly to your skin. It helps reduce inflammation and opens blocked pores. It also causes skin peeling.

the secret to preventing acne is a good diet. with all the refined junkfood your body has a hard time dealing with acne. the main reasons why acne forms and persists is because of hormonal, nutritional, and immune abnormalities in your body which can be stabilized with a diet rich in fruits&veges, water, essential nutrients, and NO junk or processed food or any sorts! remember that topical acne creams, products, etc. are just temporary fixes for an inside problem! i know thats not the quick easy answer you wanted to hear, but if you want results then you need to work hard
