Zit Zapper?
Posted by admin on Tuesday Jan 13, 2009 Under Other - Skin & Bodylilvolley7 asked:
How do you get rid of zits? I’ve heard of toothpaste and neosporin. What do you use to get rid of them?
I don’t have alot of acne, just the occasional zit, or pimple.
I have very sensitive skin.

white toothpaste works but sometimes it burns and overdrys your skin.
I use Biore’ skincare products. They work great for me.

There’s a product called Acne Terminator, comes in an orange tube. It’s on the spot, and I am the same as you, I get one occasionally. Mine are LITERALLY, no joke, gone OVERNIGHT with that!!
Zapzyt is good too, but don’t load it on because then it dries out your skin realy bad. So I prefer Acne Terminator.

Good luck!
Oh and it gets rid of blackheads too

The best medication over the counter product for killing pimple bacteria under your skin is benzoyl peroxide 10%. The only problem is that it may be too harsh on your skin. There is a 2.5% made by neutrogena called On-The-Spot Acne treatment. I used this and i could say it worked really great all though it will dry out that pimple and your skin. so make sure to not use it during the day. I believe you should only use it once at night.

Personally, I have used the Mary Kay skin care line(facial wash ect..) for a long time It works best for me.My complexion is clear and even.If you have a really bad acne problem, your Doc may be able to help you-refer you to a dermatologist or just give you a prescription to clear it up.Also I know people who have used Pro-activ and have had really good results.Try to minimize the makeup(esp.oil-based ones),minimize touching your face(your hands contain a lot of oils) always wash the makeup off your face prior to going to bed.watch your diet-greasy,fatty foods and a lot of caffeine can make you breakout.Hope this helps.as for the toothpaste-tried it never worked-just made my face red where i applied it.Never tryed the neosporin.

For long-term prevention, I would recommend acids; here is an article about homemade ones:
for shorter-term, check out this one about natural remedies for zits:
